Hello!  I'm married to Wayne Vernum for the past 36 years and living in Washington, MO.  We have two sons and one grandson aged 1.  I worked as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at St. Johns Hospital in Washington for 20 years and quit to start my own business as a medical transcriptionist but went back to nursing after 3 years.  I work at a family practice clinic right now but am planning on retiring once and for all in November.  After that I'm planning on spending much more time with our grandson and seeing how many new projects I can start (Wayne hates that).

I am married with one daughter who just turned 15.  Moved back to the St. Louis area in 1994 when my husband and I were both recruited to the Washington University School of Medicine faculty.  I am a clinical molecular geneticist & direct a genetics testing lab.  My husband is the surgery chief of the trauma service at Barnes-Jewish and an active researcher in molecular mechanisms.  We enjoy swimming, XC skiing, traveling, and flying small planes. I've been to several C/O 70 reunions over the years and still haven't seen some pals in a l-o-n-g time.  Hope all is well.
