After CHS I attended the Univ. of Illinois and graduated in 1966. I met my wife while in college and was married to Carolyn in 1966.  I entered the service right after my wedding (literally!) and served in the Army until 1972.  I had assignments in Iran, Middle East and Viet Nam during my service.  While in the service my wife and I had two children - Patrick and Christine.  I ended my service career in Indianapolis, IN in 1972 as Captain.  I joined the Burroughs Corp. as a computer salesman.  I changed companies to Digital Equipment Corp., still selling computers, and moved physically to Michigan in 1978.  I had a 20+ yr career at Digital and then Compaq (which bought out Digital), with several sales, sales management and marketing jobs.  I left Compaq in 2000 and joined EMC, a computer storage company.  Both of my children are grown and married, but no grandchildren yet.
