Me
Millstadt, IL
I lived in Cahokia most of my
life, but with my second marriage, I moved out in 1991. We moved to the
country in Millstadt, IL, which is where we still live. I have a son, 31 yrs old
and a daughter, 28 yrs old and 3 grandsons, 12, 8 & 2 yrs old
& 2 - step granddaughters - 8 & 7 yrs. old. My husband and I
have a custom built computer business out of our house for the last 12 years.
We sell to people in their homes and small businesses and repair computers.
My husband is a Network Engineer by day. I am a member of the CHS Alumni
Reunion Committee. I love working on genealogy - my ancestors came from Sweden. I
have been to Sweden twice to meet my relatives. Between our business,
genealogy and the Reunion work, I keep plenty busy! I love working with the
Reunion committee doing research to find more Alumni each day - so come on out
and join us at the annual All Alumni Reunions - keep watch on this web site!!

I have lived in Cahokia since 1960, & I have been
married to a life long
friend Denise Blevins for 23 yrs. We have a 16 yr old son, Joe, Jr. who is a
chip
off the old block (scary) and one of the best kids you'd ever want to meet.
Denise has worked for Cahokia Water & Sewer Dept for about 25 yrs now & I have
been a "House Husband" for the past 13 yrs, not a bad job to have cause I got to
see our son grow up before my eyes & I wouldn't trade that for anything, BUT
guys don't ever tell the wife that it's an easy JOB, because IT'S NOT ! ! ! Our
son loves Auto Body class & got an A+ for his first paint job. His ROTC unit
rank top of the class and he enjoys going to church w/his girlfriend.
Life has been filled w/a lot of ups & downs for us, but for the most part I
wouldn't change a thing. Well there's an old saying my dad always says
when he's toasting someone he knows & likes & it goes like this..... Here's
looking up your old address.........and please do, cause I really miss some of
my old High School
friends...........Joe
