To Sharon's Classmates and Friends of CHS -

We are passing the word, regarding the sudden death of one of our CHS 1966 Classmates, and "former" President of the CHS Alumni Assn., Sharon (Merkel) Zaring.

We spoke with Sharon a few days before her death - she was wanting to get a 40th class Reunion together for her class, in 2006.  But, she told us she had to go for cancer surgery on the 11th and when she returned, she would get with us to add the details on the CHS web site.

Sharon had lots of complications, after coming home from her surgery.
The doctor told her family that she had a really bad infection.

Please say a prayer for Sharon's family, as they are a very close family.  They are devastated since her death was so sudden.
