Amy A. Lucas, nee
Tobin, 28, of Cahokia, Ill., born Jan. 23, 1976, in Belleville, Ill.,
died Monday, May 3, 2004, at Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital, East St.
Louis, Ill.
Mrs. Lucas was an employee at SIUE Headstart, Cahokia, Ill.
Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Laveta
Carpenter and Lester and Opal Nobs; and a niece, Jordan Dodson.
Surviving are her husband, Arciles "AJ" Lucas; five children, Brittanie
and T.J. Erhardt, Nicholas Tobin, and Jacob and Adrien Lucas; her
parents, Leroy and Patricia, nee Carpenter, Tobin of Cahokia, Ill.; and
a sister, Mary Beth Lockett of St. Louis, Mo. She was a dear niece,
cousin, sister-in-law and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abundant Love Church,
Cahokia, Ill., in care of the Lucas Family Fund.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday, May 6,
2004, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, May 6, 2004, at
Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill., with the Revs. Jeff Duncan,
Bob Gay and David Raynaud officiating. Burial will be held in Lake View
Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
