Hi, my name is Gail Lee (Mathes) Elledge; a 1967 graduate of Cahokia High School. For the past 35 years I have been married to my High School sweetheart, Ronald Lee Elledge, a 1965 Cahokia High School graduate. We almost didn't make it, but in 1979 we both gave our hearts to Jesus and were born again. Jesus picked up our broken pieces of our lives and put us back together again. THANK YOU JESUS! We are living a blessed life. We attended Faith Assembly of God Church in House Springs for 23 years, where God blessed us with another spiritually adopted son, Rob Williams, and his beautiful wife, Susette, and our grandchildren, Delilah 17, Eric 15, Melissa 14, Gabrielle 8 and the twins Nehemia and Nethanial 6.  We moved to Missouri in December of 1973 with our two sons; Ronald Lee Elledge, Jr., now 33 and Heath Allen Elledge, now 32. They are both still single. A couple of almosts, but were still waiting. The past 16 years have been spent in our home we built in Hillsboro, Missouri in 1985-1986. My mother passed away in 1977, my father in 1993. My brother Ron Mathes passed away in 1997, Willis in 1999 and John (Skeeter) Mathes in 2002.

After graduation I married Curtiss Ann Henderson (CHS alumni), joined the Navy and bounced around the U.S. until 1979, when we found a home in the Oklahoma City area. We live on a small ranch 35 miles west of the city. I teach Automated Radar Systems for the Federal Aviation Administration and my wife is a writer with 30 books to her credit. We have one son 26. Our hobbies are currently horses and street rods.
