I live on Oahu and work at Camp Smith for the DoD. I am a contracting officer, managing hazardous waste disposal contracts for military bases throughout the Pacific region, including Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Thailand, Australia. I have two daughters who live in Michigan, and three grandsons. I recently adopted my oldest grandson. Shortly after HS, I enlisted in Air Force. After separating, I used my GI bill and completed college, graduating from Bellevue Univ. in Bellevue NE. I was married for 16 years, but am now divorced.

Hi. I am finishing up my twenty-first year as a commissioned officer in the Army. I had plans to retire in September of 2001, however the events of September 11th, changed my plans. I am a Middle East Regional specialist, and so now I am temporarily (for about a year) assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar, on the Arabian peninsula. My wife (Janet) and I have been married for nearly 12 years, having met during the time I was studying for my Masters Degree in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have two great kids, Patrick (5) and Sophie (3). As you can see, we started our family late. They do keep us young, though. Unfortunately, they are all back in Florida and not with me. When I return next fall (2002), well be moving up to the Washington D.C. area, where Ill be assigned as an intelligence analyst with the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Upon graduation from CHS, I attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga on an athletic scholarship. In 1978, I went to work for General Motors in Flint, Michigan in the accounting department of Buick Motor Division &  took a corporate buyout in 1987 to start my real estate career.  In 1991, we relocated to Des Moines, IA & continued my real estate career. I have been married to my wife, Cindy, for 26 years and have 2 married daughters and a 18 year old son.  My hobbies include old cars and remodeling projects.
