Was "short" credit hours in "67" to graduate with my
class, so enlisted in the Army & got my GED while in Viet Nam (good way to get
out of the "field" for a couple of weeks plus finish my education). Served on
Active Duty from "67 - 70". Thx to Uncle Sam, I got to see Viet Nam, Okinawa
(spent a week there with Bruce Salazar), & Australia. Went to work for Uncle Sam
as a civilian plus enlisted in the Army Reserve. Retired from the Reserves in
'95, with 24 yrs., as a Command Sergeants Major. Still work for the government &
have a total of 32 yrs. under my belt. Transferred to Huntsville, AL in '98 when
the government instituted the Base Realignment & Closure (BRAC) thingy. Been
married 3 times (3rd times a charm, right? Wrong!) & have a daughter from my
second marriage. Her name is Danielle, she's the light of my life, & a graduate
of CHS, Class of '98. Been "officially" single since last October. Love it here
in Bama. Just about got this "red neck" thing down pat. Got the old pick-up
truck, a few bullet throwers, my trusty dog (& Kat), but just can't bring myself
to stock my in ground pool with fish. Some how, it just doesn't seem "right"!
LOL! Ya'll come down and visit, hear.
