Presently live in Collinsville. Moved here from the country and miss the country very much. As the mother of a boy and girl and a grandmother of three and work full time, I have little time to enjoy what I love; gardening. I don't mind though, the children bring me lots of joy. I now have 26 years of service with the USPS....but will be grateful if they were to offer early retirement! I'm not sure what I would do for I had planned to travel, but alas, the marriage didn't work out and I've tried traveling alone and don't care for it much so working on new plans. Since I only went to CHS for a short time, I don't remember many names but hope that if anyone remembers me they might spike my memory for me.

I have been married to Dave Brown, class of 1969, for 29 years. We have two children, Rich 21 and Robin 19. I am a meter reader for Illinois Power and have been there 8 years.  I also have my own karaoke and DJ business which I have been doing for about 2 years now and enjoy very much.

I am married to Norman, an alumni of the class of 1968.  We have 2 grown sons, Jeffrey & Jeremy. Have lived in the Cahokia-Belleville area since graduation. I am currently working for Landshire, Inc. in Belleville as an accounts receivable clerk. Norman is a park superintendent for St. Clair Foley Park.

I attended Cahokia Grade School, Wirth Junior High School, and Cahokia HS through 1969.  I would have graduated there in 1971, but my parents moved to Union, MO when I was beginning my Junior year.  I graduated from Union High School, but only spent two years there.  When I think of old school friends, I think of my Cahokia friends and wonder where they are and how they are doing.

I have been married for 15 years and my husband is Lee Alan Schulte and he is a self-employed Certified Public Accountant.  We have no children. 

I got an AA degree from East Central Junior College, and a BS in Home Economics – Clothing and Textiles at Univ. of MO – Columbia (1975). Then I decided I wished to work with people and not things.  I spent 11 years with the Missouri Juvenile Court system, and was Superintendent of Detention for the Clay County Juvenile Court in Liberty, MO for 10 years.  I moved back to St. Louis area 19 years ago and am the General Manager for the Whitehall Club, Inc. in Clayton, MO.  I went from working with hard core young delinquents to rich older people.  Much safer!

I would really like to catch up with some of my old classmates.

I am a former Cahokia "bad boy", gone from the area for over 25 yrs., I do return to visit almost annually. CSU-Fullerton grad., 23yrs in the aerospace industry in so. Cal. Semi-retired, now blissfully living in Fla. with my lovely wife of 14yrs.,Kathleen. Happily childless, we enjoy our home and sailing the gulf. I was delighted to discover your website via classmates.com where many names conjured warm memories.  I am currently building a coed adventure racing team to compete/complete in two events 2002, the 1st in May, here in Fl. It would be very 'cool' to have any village alumni on the team; if you pedal, paddle, swim, run and crawl, please let me know of your interest.
